I was in Singapore a week before I went to KL.

I really love this country, there are just a bunch of reasons I can talk about. But one of it is, people in Singapore are more open to accept a new fashion and style. And I love it.

But of course it never happen for me to see and accept a kid this small to cut a hair this extreme.

Since I was rushing to another place, I miss the chance to wait and see his parents. Yeah, I am seriously very eager to know them. Of course I am very open, but it will be last thing for me to allow my seven years old son (if I have one of course) to get a haircut like this.

Well, its too late for me to go back and find out..

But from my guess, their parents suppose to fall down into one of this four categories. Must be.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. His dad is some kind of child molester.
So in order to make sure his dad will never molest him, his mom purposely cut his hair to make him look ugly
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

2. His dad is a damn daring crocodile hunter. He just not afraid of anything.

To proof that his son is also same like him, he cut his son hair to look more “yaw yeng” (cooler).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3. He is just adopted.
So nobody really cares for him (or how he cut his hair).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

4. Ok, I think too much. Maybe his daddy is just a gatsby hair model.

and he is only following daddy…

I don’t know, really..

Short trip to KL

I know I can actually make 3 entry from this 1 entry.. My wrong, it now mix up and a bit un-related each other..

There is something strange about me and KL.

I always went there but its just never on a vacation purpose. Its always because of “some event”, “concerts”, “swimming stuff”, or “just passing by before going to somewhere else”. At the end I never really walk through the whole town. And it still the same until now, I went there for a 3-days stock option seminar three weeks before. (Yes, its 3 weeks ago since sumilo.com is SO SLOW in updating his blog).

Cause I’m pretty busy back then, I take on the morning bus so I can arrive there exactly few hours before the seminar.

When I arrived, first thing that was passed my mind is breakfast as I only have few small breads as my dinner the night before and its been a long night. I saw KFC from far away with its “24 hours” big banners.

but where is the F*cking light!??

After the stupid cruelty issue with their chicken, now they come up with a very good management skill. No wonder they never win the stupid chain burger business.

Luckily they still don’t mess up with the Sander’s 11 secret recipe or I’ll be crying every single dinner time.

I seldom wake up so early in the morning, walking down the road at 7 AM is just a very rare but nice experience. Suddenly bukit bintang looks nicer with its fresh morning air.

I arrive just an hour exactly before its starts, pretty strange that sumilo is suddenly so punctual for a morning schedule.

I go on to take my seat when I suddenly realize something, its just too small.

It cost us more than RM 2000 per day and what we get is only a stupid small place with not more than 90 cm wide. The organizer must be making fun of us.

The seminar takes averagely 17 hours a day, so on the third day we all become walking zombies. I never drink coffee before, but I drink more of it than water during that time. The most tiring seminar I’ve ever gone through so far.

Ok, lets just skip it as nobody will want to read how sumilo pass his days by reading some stupid companies chart.

find the guy with the ugliest hair, and you will know its me..

At the end of the day, we get proud for a cheap printed certificate that won’t do us anything good. Must be reading too much numbers, we are out of our mind now. *_*

Since we only allowed to sleep around 5 hours a night, I just chose a cheap budget hotel around the bukit bintang area. 99 bucks a night on the weekend is pretty acceptable and it is still a nice room.

And of course with the place like this, you will just get something unexpected. During my last day of staying, when I walk out from a friend’s car 5 am in the morning.. I was approached by two guys that asked me, “want to find some siao jie (young girl)?”. Sighh….

Since my last day has gone mad to 5 am, I just have chance to sleep around 6 hours before checking out. When I wake up, my friend is already left back to his hometown.

I was left alone, so I tell myself why not just take a walk around for few hours before going back.

First place that came up to my mind was lowyat plaza, the largest place in Malaysia that sell computer stuff with a dirt cheap price. As a geek, nerd, IT freak that always participate in lots of computer forum I don’t even know how a lowyat plaza look like. Yea, shame on sumilo.

I thought it will be a harsh place where everyone will try to drag you to their shop, so that you won’t even have chance to compare the prices with another shop.

boy, I was wrong..

Lowyat plaza is somehow still a nice place to shop. It just looks like a normal shopping mall.

But of course there are still parts of it that is same with what I imagine before.

I was so tempted to buy lots of stuff here..

After the lowyat I visited Times Square, another mall that is just few minutes walk away from lowyat.

Its been few years since the last time I came here. I was really amazed with their new indoor theme park, they can even build an indoor roller coaster.

Pretty Amazing..

After few hours of walking around, I decided to go back to the bus station to take my ride back to Penang.

And in here, you don’t even need to buy a ticket from the counter. There are just a bunch of guys who will force you to buy from them, so they can earn some commission to take back home.

It really amaze me how hardworking these “sales” people are.
They are so thick face and hardworking that they will even make all MLM marketers and insurance agent stand in shame.

I mean, seriously…

KFC Cruelty

I was in KL last weekend when I saw this interesting campaign. They are fighting against KFC cruelty.

I already know for a long time that the way KFC raise and kill their chicken is cruel. But I just never expect there will be someone out there who really raise up their voice against it.

To my surprise, even a Pamela Anderson also stand on their side.

“Hai, my name is Pamela. What I want to say is this.. If I can get a large boobies without eating chicken.. So can you!!”.

Errr… OK, I do get her point.

I was thinking about supporting them as well. Raising chicken without even giving them ability to walk and cooking them alive is just too cruel.

I am going to SUPPORT them. But will I look too weird inside?

No problem. I look good inside. My best pic, ever..

BUT HEY!!!

Wait a minute.. I just found out something so important..

I never read that before. It means I can’t eat KFC anymore? I am out of it.

Everyone know I can’t live without that piece of chicken, and until today McDonald still can’t make a good chicken.

I will never put my name in exchange for a possibility of shutting down the whole KFC.

That’s why you will never see me taking pictures with them.

I just want to enjoy my chicken here.

Yes.. Say that I am evil, say that I never care about those chicken lives.

Say that I am no good at all.

But I just love KFC too much to see them close shop.

Sorry buddy…
