My first entry.. Nuffnang Bloggers’ Gathering
I have read blogs for several months now. It was just something that I never thought before, reading and writing a blog is actually an interesting life as well. Contrary to what I think before, most bloggers are not even the people who bitch about their life.
In fact, I start to build the interest to write my own.
It was just a perfect time that when I want to start blogging, nuffnang community held a bloggers gathering event in Penang. I contact them directly about joining the event, even with the status of not a blogger. The reason is, by joining this event I can know a lot of bloggers and learn from them before starting on my own. Well, nuffnang accepted my request. It was last Saturday 23rd June in Foodloft, Gurney Plaza - Penang.
This restaurant is basically a nice place with a good view of the penang sea.
I went there on myself, as I don’t even have friends who are interested in such event like this. But I do get along with these bloggers and at the end just learn a lot of new things in blogging.
Lots of them are just freshman college students. That fact suddenly makes me who has just finished my master degree two weeks ago feel like twenty years older.
Something that I really don’t expect was I will find nicole there. Her blog was actually the first that I read and inspired me to write my own. Ok, I’m not suppose to write the reason here (it will be on some entry sometimes in the future). But its not her look for sure. I never get into a girl who are just 0.5 cm barefoot shorter than me.
Ok, I’m not that short. It was all her fault to make me look like one.
And yeah, I know my hair look like shit. I have been hearing that all day long for nearly 4 months, and it will be on another half year. So just keep your breath.
In order to show the support of the community itself, one of the most famous malaysian blogger kennysia fly over here to join the event (Honestly, first reason he come here is to join the penang bridge marathon ;p).
When you are a blogger with more than 15,000 readers a day, suddenly you will become a hot celebrity among the bloggers.

But sometimes, he is just doing things that are pretty…. yea, unacceptable.
ouchh, but yes that’s kenny….
After the interview session is over, the organizer take the chance and ask him to show up his hairy leg, which become worst when they are trying to cut and sell it for “charity purposes”.
I still don’t understand how the organizer can manage to come up with this kind of idea.
Rule blogger number 1:
Always pretend that you are in a great suffer, even though you are enjoying it soo much
HOLY MOLY! What the hell is that!?
The first one was sold on the spot for RM 20. The rest is plan to be sell online using online auction.
Can’t believe it? You better do. When you are famous, everything inside your body will worth something (even when you have the smallest pair of coconut ball in the whole world).
There are several other activities such as quiz and food challenge.
Oh, one important thing: when you do any quiz or challenge, DON’T FORGET to use some gift to bail them.
If not, never ever expect that a MALAYSIAN will even bother to hear what you say.
The whole event was around 3 hours, which ends up with a group photo and satisfaction on the face of the bloggers and organizers.
I am looking forward for another event like this for sure.

Hey, what is this sumilo.com all about?
Well, this is the starting point of my blog, as I had promised myself few months ago to start after finishing my study.
After all, isn’t there an old saying, “If your life is worth living, it is worth to be recorded and remembered.”
So.. why don’t just go out, get an interesting life then blog about it.
Writing is really not an easy job. It takes me three hours to write this entry, even when I already know what I want to write from the very first. And another 3 hours for all the image editing, reorganize them back and recheck everything. I keep facing the problems on how to express the story in short words and sentences. Just hoping that the second entry and all the following will be a lot easier and faster to write.
I will rebuild the whole layout with my own style, and make it easier to navigate. But still, there is a lot to learn so it won’t be in the near future. I have too many things that come up in my life this few months.
